Don't Take Our Word For It!

This is a selection of reviews from some of our wonderful guests...

"We have just returned from a wonderful family holiday at Croagh Patrick Lodge. From the warm welcome we received from the owner to our sad departing, nothing was wanting. The house is tastefully decorated with a mix of old and new and views across Clew Bay to the Nephin Mountains. There is plenty of space to relax and gaze at the views or read a book and play board games. The kitchen had ample space to prepare and enjoy a meal for a large group. Situated on the Wild Atlantic Way it is ideally situated to walk, climb and drive around this magnificent area. For families and groups of friends looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of busy lives this is the ideal get away. We highly recommend this property and will have no hesitation in returning."

"It is beautiful - in the most fantastic setting at the foot of Croagh Patrick and sitting right across Murrisk Bay - it is stunning. Views from front and back gives this holiday home such a tranquil feeling. The accommodation is spot on with so much room. We stayed as a family including four couples and five children. The rooms downstairs were plentiful and you could always find a quiet space. The grounds were great too and plenty of room for the children to run abount. The owner is so accommodating and friendly and she made us feel so at home instantly, I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property."

"We stayed at this scenic lodge at the foot of Croagh Patrick for a week, a family group of 14. It is a large well furnished, spacious house with all the amenities needed for large groups, there was nothing we needed to ask for and had the most fabulous time there. We even hosted all our local family members to a get together one evening. Linda, the owner, was great and very welcoming. I have no hesitation in recommending the Lodge to visitors coming to Westport."

"We stayed in Croagh Patrick Lodge in July for a holiday with extended families from around the world and we all said afterwards that, having done similar breaks throughout Ireland before over several years, this was the most comfortable and best house we ever rented. The grounds were lovely for both adults and children and the views are stunning, particularly at the back of the Reek. The living space was perfect for just hanging out while cooking, eating and drinking. We all had a wonderful week, we even held a party for a 50th birthday with 22+ people. If you are looking for a great base for a couple of families in the Westport area, I would not recommend anywhere else."

"We spent a week here in early July. The lodge is a lovely, spacious and very well equipped house at the base of Croagh Patrick. The area and scenery is spectacular and the house was a great base to wander out from. The owner was very relaxed and helpful and we had a lovely holiday."
